I want to thank you all who participated!! And a special thanks to all my past clients who helped make 2008 such a busy one! I am really looking forward to 2009, as there are great changes in store, new looks and new products!! It's going to be a fantastic year!!! And now to the winner of the best of 2008...

I am so behind on the contest. I have been hit hard with a nasty stomach bug that I just can't seem to shake. It has been passed on by each member in my house.. which is really fantastic! ha ha At least I still have my sarcasm. So here are the final two images that I have picked. I had one heck of a hard time deciding.. ok I said top 5 I am going top 6 lol. So here are the final 3 images that will be part of the contest.

Love for my boys

I've had a very cool frame sitting empty for nearly a year now... sitting patiently next to the couch waiting to be filled with warm fuzzy memories. It has 4 openings and seeing that I am a 3 gal I could never think of what to put in it. Finally after doing the boys pictures and actually sitting and having time for myself it came to me. So I wrote a poem and placed it in one opening and then the rest I filled with the pics. Here it is, not sure if you can even see it so I am also including the poem. I had planned on giving it to the boys for Christmas but couldn't contain myself and gave it to them this afternoon. Jaxson seriously had tears.. which in turn had me crying. That boy is something else! :)

It's moments like these that don't last long enough. It's nice to be able to savor it! And sure I could have edited out the boo boo under his eye but I didn't, so years down it's all brought back! :o)

Friendly Reminder

I am currently on Holiday Break. I will continue to blog but will not be taking any orders, returning any emails, taking any calls until I get back. It's time for me to celebrate the reason for the season and spend time with my boys. I have someone checking emails, sending out reminders and checking messages. If you have orders that were placed by the deadline, no worries... they are in lab and waiting to print! Once they arrive you will be notified as to when the next pick up date will be. Please be patient as we all know it's a crazy time of year for deliveries. Thank you and have a wonderful holiday with the ones near and dear to you!

The end of the year is near......

Well the end of 2008 is getting closer. I thought a great way to celebrate one heck of a year is to post 5 of my favorite pictures from 2008. There are tons that i LOVE but there are a few that knock my socks off and also there usually is a story to it as well. So be sure to come back and check in as I post them. Ok another try at this..... Lil' Miss H

I had started a beautiful blog this afternoon, it was delightful and absolutely fascinating... and then BAM! We had a power outage for a few minutes... so it was gone when the computer kicked back on. Grrr!!! So here is the shorter version of before:

I met baby H last weekend with my gal pal Shannon. We had a lovely time with lil'Miss H and her parents. She had a lovely home, some fun pooches and beautiful parents. She's got some good jeans.. and it shows! She was a doll!! We did have a minor incident.. he he he it's always amazing how much punch something so little can pack!! Thank you mom and dad for a lovely afternoon and now on to your sneak peek. I hope you enjoy, and I hope it leaves you thirsty for more!

One Hot Mama

My maternity shoots seem so few and far between. But when I get them I go all out! I love maternity sessions. The excitement of what's to come! I loved, call me crazy, being pregnant! Jeepers I did it 3 times I must have liked something about it right! lol When I was pregnant with my first son I complained none stop about my back (later I would have 23 hours of excruciating hard back labor!) but a co-worker once stopped me and said this "How lucky are we, we are women. No one else gets closer to God like we do, for we are lucky to be able to assist Him with a miracle", those words stuck with me forever. So to be the one documenting this fleeting moment of women hood is a true pleasure. Thank you Inna for a rockin session! You're going to have a beautiful baby girl! I can't wait to meet her! And psst... maybe her brother will get in on the action then! :o) Here's your peek! Enjoy!

Candy Canes Wishes & Cocoa Kisses

Today I decided to sit down and update the blog. Sorry for the delay!

So last Saturday I had so much fun meeting up with 9 chili kiddies and one cool Senior! I think I spent more time watching the girls who work with me from time to time. Lea, Shannon and Traci all have been seen with me at weddings and other shoots. It was fun to see them interact with the kids and I think the kids had fun too! It was sooo cold so it was a pretty short shoot. We enjoyed cookies and cocoa at The Sweeter House of Coffee after, thanks Pat and your gang for the yummy treats! I'm telling you, if you are in the area and have not ventured into this little gem of a place here in Lebanon IL, you are missing out on some GREAT coffee and cocoa! And the food is good too!! Here is a peak at some of the pictures I captured! Thanks to you all for braving the weather! I will be holding another shoot in the Spring, so be sure to watch for those details, as there will be a limited amount of folks we take!
