I have to say all the stories touched me, honestly they did. And I wish I could let EVERYONE win!

The Runner UP
The runner up will get a free session and 20 proofs.
This is her story:

Ok, so I have this wedding dress my mom bought me to get married in. She bought it for me in 2003 not long after my hubby and I were engaged. We started planning the wedding and then I found out I was pregnant with my first born, Olivia. So, I put the wedding off until after I had the baby. I had Olivia in March 2004. My mom found out her breast cancer came back in May 2004 and was told she only had a year to live. At that point, I put the wedding off, all I wanted to do was spend time with my mom. Then, in May 2005, things were getting REALLY bad, she was in and out of the hospital and then we brought her home on hospice. At some point, I thought about the wedding I was wanting and it dawned on me that my mom wouldn't be there to see her only girl get married. It was then that my hubby and I decided to plan the wedding in a WEEK!!! Here is the bummer part though...the dress she had bought be was too small, so I didn't get to wear it....this killed me because she was sooo sick that she couldn't even go with me to pick another one out. So, I found one but was not in love with the dress. I got married on May 28th and my mom passed away on June 20th. She was at my wedding and I would never have had it any other way. However, I only wish I would have gotten to wear the dress her and I picked out together. I still have the dress, tags on it and all and it fits now that I have lost weight. I would love nothing more then to have some pictures taken in it. My husband and I never even had professional pics taken of us together on our wedding day. Every picture we do have was taken on a digital camera from friends and family. Thanks for taking the time to read my story.

AND MOLTO BELLA PHOTOGRAPHY'S FIRST ANNUAL HOLIDAY GIVEAWAY WINNER

This is her story:

So I thought I would take a crack at this...I'm not a writer so please forgive me if this sounds weird! I would like to do this mainly for my husband. He's deployed to Iraq right now and is missing so much in the short time he's going to be gone. He's already missed our 5th wedding anniversary, and will be missing our daughter Abby's 1st birthday, our 8th anniversary of being together (I know it's cheesy, but I like to celebrate that too!) and the whole holiday season.

I get asked all of the time how I deal with it, and frankly I don't know. When the girls start crying at the same time or are both wanting my attention sometimes I feel like I'm going to go crazy, but I just remind myself that he is there defending our freedom. Then I think how grateful I am to just be able to take my daughter to school and not be afraid to leave the house. To watch them play and just cuddle them up. He misses us so much. I can hear it in his voice and read it in his letters. He sounds so lonely and just sad, but he tries to hide it and be strong!

When he calls and I start to cry, I remember I need to be strong for my girls. They miss their daddy so much and I try to help as much as I can, but of course there is no substitute for their daddy. Even Abby's little eyes light up when they can see him on the webcam or watch the dvd's he left them. One thing that sticks out in my mind is when Abby was having such a hard time last week with her teeth. She cried for 4 hours straight and nothing would comfort her! So I just sat down and put on her DVD of Chris reading her stories and she immediately stopped crying. It was amazing to me that they feel like I do sometimes. Just missing their daddy.

So I don't know if this is what you wanted, but I just wanted to try. I would love to have some of your beautiful pictures to surprise him with! I think it would boost his spirits and make him smile! Thanks for doing this!

CASTING CALL

I am doing a casting call for girls and boys aged 3 - 10.

If you have a son or daughter... or a niece, nephew or grandchild that fits this age range please send them this way!

I will be taking up to 8 kids for a fun Holiday shoot. The shoot will be used for advertisement purposes and for me to help teach a few aspiring photographers. The date is November 22nd and the location has yet to be determined.

As for the requirements, there will be a particular look I am going for. Think bright and cheery Holiday fun. Bright reds, blues, greens and white and black will be the requirements. Once I have picked the cast I will go into further clothing details.

I am need children who can follow direction well and I can keep their attention longer than a millisecond. :) If your children is overly hyper active and we cannot gain any control we will ask you to leave.

If your child is looking onto modeling I will be giving each child participating an 8x10. Let me know a head of time and we will be sure to get the shot that will be great in their portfolio.

Please send email to moltobellacastingcall@yahoo.com This address is dedicated to this shoot and will help us keep everything nice and organized! Thanks!
Be sure to include contact info, child’s name, child’s age and your relation to child!
